AVON mascara

Another short but sweet review on my favourite go to Avon mascara:
I have recently been on the hunt for a cheaper alternative for my favourite mascaras from benefit and too faced which range between £15-£30 that I can’t justify paying for anymore.

So I tried a few different brands including ones from primark, L’Oréal, etc. Before I became a representative for Avon I tried a few, and didn’t seem to use them enough to love them, after becoming a representative I bought 4 different mascaras from Avon to try...

My hunt for a cheap but amazing mascara is over, I have found the “true ultra volume” mascara! This mascaras brush isn’t one I usually go for, however it gives so much length to my lashes and make them look so full, my eyelashes are short with few of them without mascara but this stuff is absolutely amazing and only cost me £5.50! The price varies but I couldn’t recommend enough😍

AVON vs MAC

Not so much of a review this time, more of a 'trick' to save a little bit of money but have a similar product!
I went through my collection of Mac lipsticks, which cost around £17.50, and my Avon lipsticks which cost around £6. Although this took a while to swatch them all and find dupes, I did manage to find a few that are very similar! And as I've worn all of these, I can say they do look very similar, but the Avon ones are a little bit more hydrating whereas the Mac ones are more drying for me.

The dupes I found I have added pictures below but they are;
Bitten Apple by Avon vs Russian Red by Mac.
Rosy Outlook by Avon vs a very popular Velvet Teddy by Mac.
Pinky Beige by Avon vs Viva Glam by Mac.
Pout by Avon vs Please me by Mac.
For this final dupe, i found that there were 2 Mac lipsticks very similar to the Avon one, these are Paramount and Verve by Mac vs Matte Twig by Avon.
(Pictures aren't in order unfortunately, I've added the names on the pictures though)

My Thorough Skin Care Routine - AVON

Hello Everyone! Quite new to doing reviews but here goes!
So, when I first began wearing makeup at the age of 15, and since then until I turned 19, I always just used a make-up wipe to remove my makeup and applied a moisturiser and that was me finished. Of course, you would think that all your make-up was removed and that was it, I did too, for 4 years!
Until I was at a friends and saw her using some liquid to take off her makeup on a cotton pad, so I was interested and thought id try it for myself, after using a makeup wipe and then using a little bit of 'micellar water' on a cotton pad I found there was still a lot of makeup still left on my face! I was so shocked, so I made it my sort of mission to find micellar water that worked for me, I tried a few brands and they were all quite drying to me (all skin types are different so some may work for some people but not others).
At the beginning of 2019, I came across the Avon micellar water and eye makeup remover in the same formula, so I tried them, and haven't stopped since! they have been the only ones I have found that isn't drying and make my face feel so soft afterward! After finding these I thought id add more of Avon's skin care products to my daily skincare routine, I always used Avon care moisturiser before, but added more to what I used.

To take my makeup off I take a few cotton pads and remove my face makeup with the Avon True Micellar cleansing water, then I use the eye makeup remover on some cotton pads to remove the eye makeup, then I will also use the bubble cleansing product from the clear skin Avon range daily and a moisturiser to finish with.

The skincare products I use:)
Once a week I will also add in the pore and shine control exfoliating scrub, also from the Clear skin Avon range, to my skincare routine, my skin has never felt and looked better! I can't believe how long I went without using these products!
